1.
Duessa 04:58
I give in to you my queen please accept this gift this peaceful offering the crown is yours to keep now that I have found this hiding place I can forego the urge to seek So stay with me Duessa it's not you, it's me who wanted us lost and now that we're lost we will have a way of keeping the truth from finding out our whereabouts our hiding places look the same
2.
Hide & Seek 04:05
now that you're asleep all wrapped up in limbo are you torn between cerulean dreams and the comforts of acedia no daylight can reach out and pull you from inside a soul, split in two plays hide and seek in limbo til' underneath a canopy of grafted trees it sleeps will you hide or will you dream yourself awake
3.
Spiderdream 03:07
4.
the candle flickered out while you were asleep deeply dreaming of a carnival in the distance, on the sea it is real if you believe you're back, awake in the pitch-black forest with the colors of the carnival invading your memory the only way out is to leave behind the crown and follow the sound to find your way out of the forest to the station, your carnival awaits you there you will find the color in your dreams it is real if you believe that such a place built on love and art could possibly exist it does so follow the rails those parallel balance beams to the edge of cherry street the intersection of our dreams
5.
Leaving 02:36
the train out of acedia is leaving temporarily at least you'll be back, but for now you're sharing the paint from your dreams with your family of freaks you're gonna need an exceptional gate-keeper cause once the gates open anything can crawl in I think we're ahead of ourselves we've come too far too fast we don't have our own gravity it's getting pretty dizzy so stop, stick your thumb in the earth to slow down the spinning the threads snap, my eyes open
6.
open up your eyes and see the writings on the wall you're gonna need a more efficient world to catch up with your own imagination you can turn it upside-down but be aware that the further you journey away from the station the harder it is to get back from the truly surreal and you must be so excited for the carnival but know that the ticket may cost you whatever was left of your mind choose carefully the pieces you spare of your mind keep a piece of yourself to yourself kid though the colors sing beautifully blended-together there's value in a color in a corner by itself so now that the candlelight freaks have turned the world upside-down the children of hotel broslyn can play they can make all the noise that they want this magi-nation of careless magicians keeps pushing the limits to reach the next clive has the moon's light gotten far too maddening go back to the drawing board find a basement and set yourself free here comes the clive in the form of hindsight prophecy even here in the upside-down the world of men wants a king
7.
I searched around the room found a corner where a woman speaks in pictures and subtle looks more meaningful than words saw a vision of myself as a student and a teacher in this dizzying house of mirrors I need a lover and a friend the medicine that keeps me believing that there is joy in a pot at the end of our double rainbow though it rains with the sun don't cloud up the possibility of a world with no need for a king so let's smoke the moment down to the filter godspeed to the great unknown with a whiskey bottle kiss we'll pack our vices, our virtues, our dreams in the same bag of tricks cause we create the gods we struggle with arriving to the medicine of the moment the imperfect paradise, we worshipped and created old souls in a young-soul world play music the music of dead angels not all good things, have to last forever so record your dreams cause sometimes, sometimes we forget them
8.
Dear Love 03:12
dear love, here are the parts that I'm proud of so do what you must with the rest I trust your more careful disposal cause you found the charm in the refuge so wear it like sin from your neck til your chest beats against it becomes a virtue you looked inside of the basket I locked myself into so here we are learning to love how we suffer learning to follow the sometimes eyes that look past mine to the medicine for the too-fast mind for the razor-sharp for the tongue-in-cheek and the whole of heart there is nothing shameful about asking according to recent diner theories theories on fire-building you and me can be free together learn from each other and dream better nosotros todos nosotros juntos podemos ser libres
9.
new friend, shake my hand by the eyes I would like to know what kind of magic you play an impromptu visit to the devil tonight could be more than my ego can take the brownie is feeding the frenzy my hands become involuntary scratching songs like spells on the walls of the cave now I'm busy spelunking a very old soul that I found buried in the grave where my ancestors wait it was a very old soul, and it needed to die at some point but I'm a cemeterian spring where death and life are born together simultaneously I am just across the street grab a candle, hop the fence, and you will see cause after all we're always only a lung collapse away from the after party after all we're always only a lung collapse away now alone with the spider in limbo I better not stare too long at the world inside of the center where me and the spider can both be free and on my way out of my mind and into the universe I found an ugly truth I needed to struggle with my devils are planting seeds too and I get to choose which trees to water and I chose to eat from them all I am finding out some of the sweet make you nauseous sometimes the ripe isn't obvious and sometimes a creature is living inside of another we are a basket full of different kinds of similar fruit and I'm yet to choke to death on what I've learned but someday I'll choke to death for what I've learned
10.
Suffer Well 04:13
suffer well for there is color running underneath each and every storm suffer well if your strength toward your love makes you weak suffer well when you hear that there is an ocean somewhere quiet your wandering heart for you are made of water and the ocean the ocean is within you so what happens now that my paradise is sinking the snowglobe has been leaking the record is repeating thankfully the medicine is healing the damaged threads I'll need to build this air belle under water to breathe, to dream dream in search of yourself because without a self to be discovered you'll become no contribution you'll become bereft of meaning you'll become anyone else cause everything you need to be found will find you when you get lost in search of the center
